Position: Red Hat Linux Support Administrator
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Contract: 12 months + Extendable

As a Red Hat Linux Support Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our Linux-based systems. You will play a crucial role in managing, configuring, and maintaining Red Hat Linux environments while providing support to our clients.
• Utilize your 5-8 years of experience in Red Hat Linux to effectively support and maintain Linux-based systems.
• Employ essential tools for managing files, directories, command-line environments, and documentation.
• Create simple shell scripts to automate tasks and enhance system efficiency.
• Operate running systems, including managing processes, virtual machines, and services.
• Configure local storage using partitions and logical volumes.
• Create and configure file systems, managing permissions, encryption, ACLs, and network file systems.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux systems, including software installation, updates, and core services.
• Manage users and groups, ensuring proper access and security.
• Implement basic security measures, including firewall and SELinux configuration.
• Perform container management tasks as needed.
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5-8 years of experience in Linux system administration.
• Strong expertise in Red Hat Linux.
• Proficiency in using essential tools for file management, command-line operations, and documentation.
• Experience creating and maintaining shell scripts.
• Knowledge of system boot processes, virtualization, and service management.
• Skills in configuring storage, file systems, and file system attributes.
• Familiarity with user and group management.
• Understanding of basic security measures, including firewall and SELinux.
• Basic container management skills.
