Join our Digital Assets program as we design and deliver innovative blockchain-based solutions that will shape the future of payments and trading. We’re seeking two experienced Solutions Architects to support the design, educational, and architecture work across key use cases.

The Digital Assets initiative focuses on two major use cases:

Stablecoins for international payments and remittance — supporting BCB and CIB business lines.

Digital/Cryptoasset trading — delivered via partner integrations, with partial in-house development and support for staking capabilities.

The architecture team will play a central role in defining the technical blueprint, integrating new technologies, and supporting stakeholder education across the organisation.

Blockchain Solution Architect

Role Overview

As the Blockchain Solution Architect, you will lead the design and integration of blockchain journeys that enable stablecoin issuance, management, and digital asset trading. You’ll be responsible for defining blockchain frameworks, ensuring interoperability with existing systems, and supporting education and adoption across the business.

Key Responsibilities

– Architect blockchain-based solutions to support stablecoins for international payments and remittance.

– Design technical solutions for cryptoasset trading and staking, integrating partner platforms with in-house components.

– Lead educational and design sessions to upskill internal teams on blockchain concepts, capabilities, and risks.

– Evaluate and select blockchain technologies, protocols, and vendor solutions.

– Ensure security, scalability, and compliance in all designs.

– Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality, future-ready blockchain architectures.

Required Skills & Experience

– Strong experience (5+ years) in blockchain solution architecture and digital asset design.

– Deep understanding of stablecoin frameworks, digital trading, and staking mechanisms.

– Hands-on knowledge of blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger, Polygon, Solana).

– Experience integrating APIs, smart contracts, and wallet solutions.

– Familiarity with regulatory and compliance aspects of digital assets.

– Excellent communication skills and ability to engage both technical and business audiences.

Application Solution Architect

Role Overview

The Application Solution Architect will lead the design of blockchain infrastructure and application integration to support digital asset journeys. You’ll ensure that blockchain and trading platforms are deployed securely and efficiently within the organization’s architecture landscape.

Key Responsibilities

– Design end-to-end application and infrastructure architectures for digital asset use cases.

– Define integration patterns between blockchain environments, partner systems, and internal applications.

– Support the design and deployment of platforms for stablecoins and cryptoasset trading (including staking).

– Contribute to educational sessions and architectural documentation to build internal capability.

– Work closely with DevOps, security, and data teams to ensure resilience, performance, and compliance.

– Review partner solutions and assess alignment with enterprise architecture principles.

Required Skills & Experience

– 5+ years in solution or enterprise architecture, with exposure to blockchain or digital asset systems.

– Strong background in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices design.

– Experience integrating third-party trading or blockchain platforms with enterprise systems.

– Understanding of security, identity management, and data privacy in blockchain contexts.

– Strong stakeholder engagement and documentation skills.
