Position: Protection Engineer
Location: Riyadh
Contract: 12 months + Extendable

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage protection system projects in 380KV substations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Perform detailed protection design, calculations, and relay coordination studies for substations.
Oversee testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of protection relays, control systems, and associated equipment in live substations.
Ensure smooth snag clearance and resolve issues in operational substations promptly and efficiently.
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including SEC (Saudi Electricity Company), to ensure projects are executed on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience working with 380KV substations, particularly in protection systems, live substations, and snag clearance.
Extensive experience in the testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of protection relays and systems.
CI/C2 Authorization from SEC (Saudi Electricity Company) is preferred.
Strong knowledge of power system protection, relay coordination, and substation automation.
