Role Summary
Join our team as an API Connect Designer. This role involves overseeing junior developers, mentoring, and contributing to the development and design of APIs in a banking environment.
Role and Responsibilities
• Develop and design APIs using IBM API Connect and DataPower
• Oversee junior developers and provide mentoring
• Implement and manage API lifecycle management and security protocols
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for version control and deployment
• Ensure the implementation of best practices in API design and development
Skills and Experience
• Proficient in IBM API Connect, DataPower, Gateway Script, and XSLT
• Expertise in API security, including oAuth2.0, JWT, and Global Policy
• In-depth knowledge of the API Connect Ecosystem and API Lifecycle management
• Strong experience in Gateway Scripting and shell scripting
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• 6+ years of experience in API development, with at least 2 years in a design role
• Background in banking is essential
• English proficiency
• Availability to start within 30-60 days
