Our customer, a global IT services company providing consulting, systems integration, and outsourcing services, is seeking a highly skilled QA Lead with expertise in both manual and automation testing to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in defect management, experience with AWS or any cloud platform, excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills, and proficiency in tools such as Cypress and Browserstack.

Responsibilities:
– Lead QA Efforts: Take ownership of the QA process, including test planning, execution, and reporting, to ensure high-quality deliverables.
– Manual and Automation Testing: Utilize expertise in both manual and automation testing techniques to design and execute test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all functionalities.
– Defect Management: Identify, track, and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle, working closely with development teams to resolve issues promptly.
– Cloud Experience: Leverage experience with AWS or any cloud platform to implement and maintain scalable testing environments and infrastructure.
– Coordination and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to align testing efforts with project goals and timelines.
– Tool Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in test automation tools such as Cypress and Browserstack to streamline testing processes and maximize efficiency.
– Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure traceability of testing activities.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on both manual and automation testing.
– Proven expertise in defect management processes and tools.
– Hands-on experience with AWS or any cloud platform, including setting up and configuring testing environments.
– Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams.
– Proficiency in test automation tools such as Cypress and Browserstack.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
– Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members towards achieving common goals.
