Our customer, a global IT services company providing consulting, systems integration, and outsourcing services, is seeking a meticulous QE Engineer with expertise in manual testing to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products, particularly focusing on data migration projects.

Responsibilities:
– Perform manual testing procedures to validate software functionality, ensuring alignment with project requirements and specifications.
– Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives, requirements, and timelines.
– Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for data migration projects, ensuring thorough coverage of all functional and non-functional aspects.
– Identify, report, and track software defects, providing detailed descriptions and supporting documentation to facilitate efficient resolution.
– Conduct regression testing to verify bug fixes and ensure the stability of software releases.
– Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and techniques related to manual testing and quality assurance.
– Utilize cloud platforms and tools for testing purposes, leveraging cloud knowledge to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
– Ensure compliance with GDPR processes and regulations, particularly in handling sensitive data during testing activities.
– Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing regular status updates and participating in project meetings as needed.
Requirements:
– Previous experience working as a Quality Engineer (QE) or Manual Tester in software development projects.
– Demonstrated experience with data migration projects, including testing procedures and methodologies.
– Proficiency in manual testing techniques, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
– Familiarity with cloud technologies and platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
– Understanding of GDPR processes and regulations, particularly as they relate to software testing and data handling.
– Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts effectively.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
– English proficiency at B2 level or higher, both written and verbal, to facilitate communication within the team and with stakeholders.
