Position Overview:
We are seeking a Disaster Analysis Specialist with expertise in testing methodologies to join our team and support our government customer. In this critical role, you will be responsible for assessing potential disaster scenarios that could impact our customer’s systems and ensuring their resilience through rigorous testing. Your work will play a pivotal role in safeguarding critical government operations and data against unforeseen disruptions, ensuring the highest level of operational readiness.

Responsibilities:
– Disaster Scenario Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of potential disaster scenarios that may affect our systems. This includes identifying risks, vulnerabilities, and their potential impact on system functionality.
– Testing Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive testing strategies that encompass disaster recovery testing, performance testing, and non-functional testing (security, scalability, reliability, etc.).
– Testing Execution: Lead and participate in testing efforts to simulate disaster scenarios. This includes using various testing tools and methodologies to assess system performance under adverse conditions.
– Data-Driven Insights: Utilize data and analysis to provide insights into system weaknesses, potential points of failure, and areas requiring improvement to mitigate disaster-related risks.
– Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of disaster analysis findings, test plans, test results, and risk assessments. Prepare comprehensive reports and actionable recommendations for system enhancement.
– Collaboration and Training: Collaborate with teams across the organization to ensure that disaster recovery plans are in place and understood. Provide training and guidance on disaster preparedness and testing best practices.

Requirements:
– Proven expertise in disaster analysis with a strong emphasis on testing methodologies.
– Extensive experience in testing, including performance testing, security testing, and non-functional testing.
– Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks (e.g., JMeter, Selenium, and others).
– Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex data.
– Strong communication and documentation skills to convey findings effectively.
– Collaborative mindset and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
