Position: Crisis, Disasters and Emergency Consultant:
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Contract: 12 months + Extendable

Professional Experience:

• A minimum of ten years of experience in crisis, disaster, and emergency management, with a strong background in the maritime,
port operations, or logistics sectors.
• Extensive experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating crisis management plans and emergency response procedures.
• Demonstrated expertise in disaster recovery planning and business continuity management.
• Skilled in conducting emergency response drills and simulation exercises to test the effectiveness of crisis plans.
• Experience in coordinating with local, regional, and international emergency response agencies and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as Certified Emergency Manager (CEM), Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), or
equivalent are highly regarded.
• Strong command of crisis communication principles and the ability to communicate effectively under pressure.
• Proficient in the use of emergency management information systems and related software.
• In-depth understanding of international standards and best practices in crisis and emergency management, such as ISO 22301.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams during high-stress
situations.
