Position: Senior Electrical Engineer
Location: Riyadh or Dammam, Saudi Arabia
Contract: 12 months + Extendable

Responsibilities
• Lead team of engineers and designers for preparation of DCS, scope distribution with offshore offices, project deliverables and department functions under Lead Engineer
guidelines.
• Ensure that technical execution of the project is carried out smoothly right from award of the contract till completion in all aspects related to team organization, engineering
deliverables, codes/standard compliance, PTS adherence etc.
• Plan, monitor, control and adjust project pertaining to deadlines, progress, results, quality, and scope.
• Manage day to day inter-disciplinary communication between teams and other discipline engineers both locally and offshore under the supervision of Lead Engineer.
• Support Lead Engineer in reviewing all technical documents, client communication and project management issues.
Qualifications
• A strong understanding of electrical power engineering fundamentals and in-depth knowledge of HVDC technology are essential.
• Familiarity with specific converter technologies like Voltage-Sourced Converters (VSC) and Multi-Level Converters (MMC) used in modern HVDC systems.
• Good know how on design of electrical systems for HVDC converter stations from base design, detail design to IFC stages. Working knowledge on T&D functions w.r.t
construction contractors in coordination with other engineering disciplines.
• Working knowledge on preparation of Equipment Layouts (GIS, Valve hall, DC hall, switchgear, transformer, capacitor bank etc.), Trays, duct banks & tunnel layouts,
Lighting, Shielding & earthing, AC/DC auxiliary system design etc.
• Familiar with relevant codes & standards – International electro-technical commission (IEC), IEEE, BS (British Standards), Saudi Standards, Quality and Metrology
Organization (SASO), SEC standards etc.
