Oracle EBS Apps Technical consultant

Position: Network Architect
Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Contract: 12 months + Extendable

Key Responsibilities:

Customization and Development: Design, develop, and customize Oracle EBS applications to meet business requirements, including creating extensions, interfaces, and reports.

Integration: Implement and maintain integrations between Oracle EBS and other applications and systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.

Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, technical architecture documents, and code documentation.

Performance Tuning: Optimize Oracle EBS applications for performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and inefficiencies.

System Upgrades and Patching: Participate in Oracle EBS upgrades, applying patches and updates while ensuring system stability.

Security: Implement and maintain security measures to protect Oracle EBS applications and data, including user access controls and data encryption.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, working closely with functional consultants and support teams to ensure minimal downtime and disruptions.

Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of customizations and integrations.

User Training and Support: Provide technical support and training to end-users, assisting them in effectively utilizing Oracle EBS applications.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on Oracle EBS technical advancements, best practices, and industry trends, making recommendations for improvements and enhancements.

Key Skills:

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Proven experience as an Oracle EBS Apps Technical Consultant or in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite architecture, data models, and technical components.
Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and other relevant Oracle development tools.
Strong programming and scripting skills, with experience in customizing and extending Oracle EBS applications.
Familiarity with Oracle Application Framework (OAF), Oracle Workflow, and Oracle BI Publisher is advantageous.
Experience in data migration and transformation processes.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with functional consultants, business users, and technical teams.
Oracle certifications related to E-Business Suite technical components are a plus.
