Position: Atlassian Consultant
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Contract: 12 months + Extendable

Key Responsibilities:

• The Atlassian Consultant will be a subject-matter expert and will be involved in supporting customers closely throughout the application lifecycle phases. This role would be centred around the assessment, design, implementation, and delivery of Atlassian collaborative tools.
• The role will also involve working closely with our IT Service Management (ITSM) Consultants to ensure the solutions we are providing to our clients support and drive their ITSM processes.
• The team is characterised by a passion for providing industry-leading Jira, Jira Service Management and Confluence implementations following Best Practices. We also believe strongly in leaving our clients in a position to support and maintain our implementations of the Atlassian toolset.
• The Team has a strong focus on client satisfaction by creating reliable, maintainable, and scalable Atlassian solutions. A good understanding of Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC), Agile Ways of Working, and ITSM processes is required
• Client requirements gathering.
• Project implementation and task estimates.
• Atlassian product Server/Data Center migrations to the Cloud.
• Understanding client requirements and interpreting these to design, implement and deliver Atlassian product solutions.
• Jira Core, Jira Software and Jira Service Management (JSM) implementations including Jira Workflows / Jira Post Functions / Dashboards and reporting / SCRUM/KANBAN Boards / JSM queues / JSM Automation / OpsGenie for on-call and Major Incident Management / Insight for Asset Management / Marketplace App recommendations and implementation
• Discovery work on the client’s current implementations, providing recommendations for improvement.
• Client handover and end-user training

Skills and Experience

• Jira Software/Core/Service Management (previously Service Desk) 1-3 years
• Confluence (Software Development collaboration and Service Management Knowledge Base) 1-3 years
• Atlassian Marketplace Apps 1-3 years
• Good experience of the Software Development Lifecycle 1-3 years
• Experience in the use of Jira Software metrics to drive continuous improvement, such as Lead Time and Cycle Time
• Jira Administrator Certification for Cloud or Data Center/Server (nice to have)
• Python/shell/PowerShell scripting (nice to have)
• Atlassian Cloud REST apis (nice to have)
• Knowledge of ITIL Framework (ITIL 3 or 4 certifications nice to have)
• Agile Ways of Working (SAFe Agile certification nice to have)
• Bitbucket, Advanced Roadmaps, Jira Align (nice to have)
• Key Soft Skills required, include but are not limited to: Good customer relations skills and stakeholder management / Ability to work well in a team but also on your own / Good written and oral communication skills / Self-motivated and an enthusiasm to learn new skills/technologies.
