SAS Engineer – UAE

Job Description
We are looking for an SCMS / Control System Engineer with experience in system configuration, integration, testing, and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT). The role involves preparing SCMS/CS systems for FAT, conducting internal system verification, supporting customer-witnessed testing, and ensuring the required technical documentation is completed.
Key Responsibilities
1. System Preparation & Pre-FAT
• Review and mark up SCMS/CS schematics.
• Verify hardware deliveries, including gateways, switches, and servers.
• Verify SCMS/CS/CA panel schemes and support panel power-up.
• Define test scope and prepare test environments using device and protocol simulators.
• Support SCMS/CS system setup, communication establishment, and IED integration.
• Support configuration updates and corrections.
2. System Testing & Internal FAT
• Verify SCMS/CS systems against approved system architecture and HMI documents.
• Test and verify signals, commands, indications, measurements, and synchro-check functions against approved signal lists.
• Verify SCMS/HMI interlocks against approved schematics and interlock reports.
• Conduct internal FAT in accordance with approved procedures and test reports.
• Perform DMZ testing according to approved plans and procedures.
• Prepare and submit verified schematics, documents, and internal test reports.
3. Customer-Witnessed FAT & Closure
• Perform signal, command, indication, measurement, and synchro-check verification with customers.
• Conduct customer-witnessed SCMS/HMI interlock verification.
• Obtain customer witness signatures on test reports, documents, and schematics.
• Submit signed documentation according to customer requirements.
• Support dispatch requests, packing, and delivery to internal customers.
• Support FAT closure and snag clearance.
