We are seeking a Senior Integration Developer with extensive experience in IBM's product stack, including App Connect Enterprise (ACE), API Connect (APIC), and DataPower (DP). The ideal candidate should have a strong background in developing and managing integration solutions, with hands-on experience in OpenShift and Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I). The Senior Integration Developer assists in the design, development, configuration, integration, implementation, support and maintenance of solutions based on Enterprise Middleware technologies at the enterprise level; -acting independently, under the general supervision and direction of the Team Leader Must have the ability to work with multi-disciplinary cross-functional teams with members at different technical skills. -The Senior Integration Developer will apply technical skills to build enterprise middleware integration solutions for business and technical projects of small to large level of complexity. -This includes authoring technical documents, designing solutions, defining configuration parameters, developing code and reviewing business requirements to determine appropriate technical solutions. -The Senior Engineer will perform code reviews with in-house and contracted enterprise middleware teams to ensure proper integration architecture is implemented and standards are followed. -The person in this position will develop test cases and test plans, conduct unit and pre-integration test for new and/or modified middleware integration, support application/QA team in regression and end to end (integration) testing scenarios. Work with Enterprise Middleware Team Lead and Architect to ensure integration solutions are based on enterprise middleware architectural standards and are in alignment with enterprise integration strategy. -The Senior Integration Developer tasks include (but are not limited to) technical specifications, system design and development, systems integration and testing, technical support and middleware integration project management. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 9-10 years hands-on overall development experience with over 5-6 years with IBM Integration Products including App Connect Enterprise (ACE), API Connect (APIC), and DataPower (DP). • Proven experience with OpenShift and CP4I. • Strong understanding of integration patterns, APIs, and microservices architecture. • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools. • Experience in implementing Global cache, Exception and logging frameworks. • Knowledge of working with multiple data formats, XML, Fixed length etc. • Experience in integrating with databases using ESQL, Java, mapper nodes. • Experience in writing rules for data interchange in ESQL. • Expert level knowledge in IIB, MQ & related products is essential. • Set up Flow patterns/templates and develop re-usable flows, sub-flows. • Experience in continuous integration of IIB flows using Jenkins or other tools would be a plus. • Strong trouble shooting, root cause analysis, debugging and problem resolution skills. • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with peers, management, clients and partners. • Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
