We are seeking experienced ABB / Hitachi Protection Engineers to support substation protection and control system projects. The role involves configuring and integrating protection relays with substation control systems, performing diagnostics and troubleshooting activities, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, compliant, and reliable system operations.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Configure and integrate protection relays with substation control systems
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting activities
• Collaborate with cross functional teams for seamless system integration
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and operational standards
• Knowledge of MICROSCADA SYS 500 is an added advantage

Skills and Experience
• Documented extensive experience and/or Kahramaa approval for ABB / Hitachi protection relays and BCU
• Proficiency in protection and control schemes
• Strong capability to adapt relay communication configurations to different control systems
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
