Overview
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Architect to lead the end to end migration of a large scale GitLab environment to GitHub. This is a contract role with an immediate start, operating on a hybrid basis with on site presence at the client’s office in Lisbon twice per month.
Key Responsibilities
– Lead and architect a GitLab to GitHub migration
– Design and deliver robust DevOps and CI CD architectures
– Coordinate and guide offshore DevOps teams
– Engage stakeholders through clear communication, alignment, and regular updates
Required Skills and Experience
– 10+ years of DevOps experience, with 5+ years in architecture
– Strong hands on expertise in DevOps and CI CD
– Proven experience leading migration or transformation projects
– Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
– Fluent in English
Nice to Have
– Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions
– Knowledge of Terraform
– Experience with cloud native technologies
