Hardware Technician – Robotics R&D Lab
Location: Berlin, Germany (up to 50% travel across DE, EU & North America)

Linnk is supporting a cutting-edge robotics R&D programme and is seeking a hands-on Hardware Technician to assemble, test, and maintain prototype robotic systems. This role combines lab-based work with field deployments in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
The Role
As a Hardware Technician, you will build and maintain prototype robotic systems, troubleshoot hardware issues, and collaborate closely with engineers to improve designs and functionality. You will support both lab operations and on-site deployments, ensuring prototypes are reliable, functional, and ready for testing.
Key Responsibilities
Build and assemble prototype robotic systems from mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components
Support daily operations in the robotics R&D lab and maintain lab equipment and inventory
Assist with on-site deployments and system installations
Troubleshoot, repair, and optimise hardware issues
Collaborate with engineering teams to implement design improvements
Maintain clear documentation of hardware processes and procedures
Required Experience & Skills
2+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical/electrical assembly
Experience reading technical drawings and schematics
Proficiency with hand and power tools
Basic understanding of electrical systems and wiring
Familiarity with inventory management and lab procedures
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for field deployments
High school diploma required; technical certification or associate’s degree preferred
Preferred / Bonus Skills
Experience with robotics or automation systems
Knowledge of pneumatic systems
Familiarity with 3D printing and basic machining
Experience with CAD software
Background in industrial or manufacturing environments
Forklift operation license
