Job Title: Secondary Design Engineer

Role Summary:
The Secondary Design Engineer – Protection & Control is responsible for designing, reviewing, and implementing secondary systems for substation projects. This includes protection schemes, control logic, SCADA/RTU integration, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role supports both engineering design and site execution activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and review secondary system schematics, wiring diagrams, and protection/control logic
Design and coordinate protection relay schemes (distance, differential, overcurrent, etc.)
Integrate and configure SCADA/RTU systems for monitoring and control
Maintain and update design documentation, reports, and technical submissions
Support site and commissioning teams with system verification and troubleshooting
Key Requirements:
Strong understanding of protection relay design and settings (distance, differential, overcurrent protection)
Good knowledge of secondary system wiring diagrams and schematics
Experience with SCADA/RTU integration and communication protocols
Proven experience in secondary system design for substation projects
Experience in control and interlocking logic development and review
