Role : Project Delivery Specialist
Role Type : Contractual (12 months contract)

Job purpose
The Project Delivery Specialist drives execution and operational delivery of fixed (Fiber) and wireless connectivity projects across Enterprise and Government domains. The role ensures implementation momentum, enforces stakeholder accountability, safeguards delivery timelines, and protects revenue realization by proactively resolving technical, operational, and field-level challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
This role operates beyond administrative coordination and requires independent execution ownership across complex fiber and wireless deployments. The Project Delivery Specialist drives multi-stakeholder accountability, resolves technical and field-level challenges, escalates cross-functional blockers, and directly safeguards revenue realization and SLA adherence. The scope includes influencing internal infrastructure teams, vendors, and customers to maintain delivery momentum.

Key Accountabilities
• Drive end-to-end execution of connectivity projects from PO receipt through implementation, activation, and customer handover.
• Take ownership of delivery progress across all implementation stages including survey, civil works, ducting, cable pulling, splicing, installation, testing, commissioning, and activation.
• Actively engage and influence du Infrastructure, Engineering, Transmission, Access, NOC, vendors, contractors, customers, Sales Managers, and internal management to maintain delivery momentum.
• Ensure site readiness, permits, access approvals, materials, and technical prerequisites are secured within committed timelines.
• Maintain structured and proactive visibility on milestone adherence, risk exposure, operational constraints, and cost-impacting delays.
• Identify risks and dependencies early and take decisive corrective actions to prevent timeline slippage.
• Escalate technical blockers, vendor performance gaps, access delays, or resource conflicts to appropriate stakeholders to ensure resolution.
• Drive accountability across all parties involved to ensure connectivity is delivered in line with approved scope and commitments.
• Provide structured, executive-ready updates to customers and management highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation actions.
• Ensure technical documentation, route approvals, acceptance certificates, and handover records are complete and audit-ready.
• Support SLA compliance and contractual alignment during implementation.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• ≥ 95% On-time service activation against committed delivery dates
• Milestone adherence rate across implementation phases
• % of projects delivered without SLA breach during implementation
• Average resolution time for escalated delivery blockers
• Accuracy and completeness of project documentation (audit compliance)
• Customer delivery satisfaction score
• Reduction in delay-driven cost exposure and rework instances

Qualifications, experience, skills and competencies

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, or related technical discipline.

Experience:
• 3–6 years of experience in telecom fiber deployment, infrastructure rollout, or network implementation roles.
• Hands-on exposure to fiber lifecycle including survey, ducting, civil works, cable pulling, splicing, testing, and commissioning.
• Experience delivering Enterprise or Government connectivity projects preferred.
• Field experience in infrastructure or wireless rollout environments highly preferred.

Skills:
• Strong understanding of fiber deployment lifecycle including survey execution, ducting, civil works supervision, cable pulling, splicing, testing, and commissioning.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, KMZ files, GIS maps, overlays, route designs, and civil layouts.
• Knowledge of meet-me points (MMP), fiber and copper termination standards, and customer equipment handover practices.
• Understanding of structured cabling deployment within commercial buildings, malls, and government facilities.
• Knowledge of microwave link deployment fundamentals including LOS validation, site surveys, mounting, and commissioning basics.
• Familiarity with service activation workflows, SLA structures, and telecom provisioning processes.
• Experience using project tracking systems and delivery management tools.
• Strong escalation and stakeholder influence capability.
• High execution discipline and ability to manage multiple concurrent site deployments.
