Seeking an Offshore Service Technician to carry out service and maintenance activities on our units in the field, ensuring they continue to operate safely, reliably, and in line with our high-quality standards for the product range.
Main duties:
• Carry out commissioning, service and maintenance tasks on the systems.
• Conduct fault-finding and repair on defective equipment.
• Perform additional inspection, service, and maintenance tasks as required.
• Conduct formal inspections of equipment and PPE.
• Prepare and complete technical documentation, reports, and maintenance records.
• Liaise with operators and end users of company systems to support safe and effective operation.
• Liaise with internal back office teams and customer to coordinate work and resolve technical issues.
• Support inventory control and management of spare parts where required.
Working Conditions / Role Requirements:
• Work and live offshore on a rotational basis. A 2:2 rotational system.
• Occasional office-based work.
Essential candidate requirements:
• Offshore working experience.
• Proficiency in IT, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Good attention to detail with a methodical approach to tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A responsible attitude toward health and safety.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
• Valid passport.
Highly desirable attributes:
• GWO Basic Safety Training, HUET, and Enhanced First Aid are advantageous; however, all required training will be provided.
• HNC or equivalent qualification in an electrical discipline, or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in electro mechanical maintenance.
