Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Civil / Architectural Engineer with at least 1 year of relevant experience in the construction or real estate industry. The candidate will support project planning, site execution, technical coordination, quality control, and documentation to ensure projects are delivered according to approved designs, specifications, timelines, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction and real estate projects.

Review architectural, structural, civil, and engineering drawings for accuracy and coordination.

Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.

Conduct regular site inspections and monitor construction activities and workmanship.

Ensure work is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.

Identify and report site issues, discrepancies, delays, and technical concerns.

Assist in preparing and reviewing BOQs, material requirements, work schedules, and project documentation.

Monitor quantities, materials, and progress against project requirements.

Assist with quality control and ensure corrective actions are followed up and completed.

Maintain site reports, inspection records, progress updates, and other project documentation.

Support the preparation and review of RFIs, method statements, material submittals, and inspection requests.

Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve technical and construction-related issues.

Assist in monitoring project progress, timelines, and contractor performance.

Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, environmental, and building requirements.

Participate in project meetings and provide technical updates when required.

Support handover activities, snagging, rectification, and completion documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 1 year of experience in construction, contracting, real estate development, or a related industry.

Good understanding of construction methods, materials, drawings, and site execution.

Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.

Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of Revit, BIM, or other engineering software is an advantage.

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Ability to work effectively with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams.

Willingness to work on construction sites and travel between project locations when required.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of local building codes, construction standards, and approval processes.

Experience with residential, commercial, or mixed-use development projects.

Familiarity with project documentation, inspections, snagging, and handover procedures.

Basic understanding of project scheduling, cost control, and quantity measurement.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
