Linnk is currently seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our client’s growing team. This role will lead complex engineering and automation projects across multiple regions, ensuring successful delivery from concept to implementation. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership and technical project management experience to make an impact in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Job Responsibilities
• Develop and implement innovative engineering solutions for complex material handling and automation challenges, integrating mechanical design, controls, and robotics.
• Lead the design and delivery of scalable, high-efficiency systems and processes for large-scale industrial applications.
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and vendors to develop cost-effective, reliable solutions that meet safety, quality, and performance standards.
• Ensure seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, and software systems to optimise automation logic and overall performance.
• Drive continuous improvement using data analysis, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Conduct post-deployment evaluations and implement lessons learned for future designs.
• Manage cross-functional projects, aligning stakeholders across multiple regions.
• Maintain technical documentation, including specifications, SOPs, and process guidelines.
• Support the implementation of robotics and AI-driven automation technologies to enhance efficiency and innovation.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Minimum 5 years’ progressive experience in mechatronics, automation, logistics, or manufacturing engineering roles.
• Strong background in mechanical design, automated systems, robotics, and high-speed production equipment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project, and system simulation tools.
• Proven experience managing large-scale, cross-functional engineering projects.
• Strong documentation and technical communication skills.
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering.
• Familiarity with logistics or production operations and process automation systems.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs, industrial control systems, and automation technologies.
• Experience in research, development, or innovation of industrial machinery or automation processes.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
• Additional fluency in a European language (e.g., Italian, German, French).
