Resident Engineer- Mist Ai

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-facing Resident Engineer to support the deployment, configuration, and optimization of Juniper Mist AI-driven networking solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with our internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of Mist wireless, wired, and AI-driven systems, while providing ongoing technical support and guidance.

Budget: Around €450 daily rate pay- With some flexibility

Key Responsibilities:
Lead or assist in the implementation of Juniper Mist AI solutions, including wireless APs, EX switches, and cloud-based management.
Work onsite or remotely with client teams to understand network requirements and translate them into technical configurations.
Perform configuration, validation, and testing of Mist systems in line with project goals.
Provide ongoing operational support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for issues related to Juniper Mist environments.
Integrate Mist systems with existing infrastructure (e.g., RADIUS, DHCP, DNS, firewalls, NAC, third-party tools).
Optimize network performance using Mist AI analytics and Marvis Virtual Network Assistant.
Develop and maintain network documentation, including configurations, diagrams, and change control logs.
Deliver knowledge transfer and training to client technical staff on Juniper Mist solutions.
Collaborate with Juniper support and engineering teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in enterprise networking or a similar role.
Proven experience with Juniper Mist implementation, configuration, and management.
Deep understanding of wireless networking (802.11 standards) and WLAN design best practices.
Experience with Juniper EX switches and Mist cloud portal.
Hands-on experience with Marvis AI, Assurance, and location-based services is highly desirable.
Familiarity with network access control (NAC), authentication protocols (RADIUS, 802.1X), and security policies.
Solid knowledge of Layer 2/3 networking, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), QoS, and multicast.
Proficiency with CLI, APIs, and network automation tools is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and manage time and priorities effectively.

Certifications (preferred but not mandatory):
Juniper Networks Certified Associate (JNCIA-MistAI or JNCIA-Cloud)
Juniper Networks Certified Specialist (JNCIS-MistAI or JNCIS-ENT)
CWNA/CWNP certifications
