Role: Controls Engineer

Working within a multidisciplinary engineering team, you’ll contribute to cutting-edge projects that combine mechanical design, control systems, and AI-driven motion technology — transforming the way goods move through global supply chains.
Key Responsibilities
• Configure, deploy, and optimize machine vision and imaging systems for industrial automation.
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain control panels, electrical systems, and motor controllers (VFDs, servo drives, motor-driven rollers).
• Program and fine-tune PLC systems with a focus on Codesys architecture.
• Integrate and commission robotic systems, including Universal Robots and POLYSCOPE X platforms.
• Conduct system integration, ensuring seamless coordination between electrical, mechanical, and software components.
• Perform detailed diagnostics and optimization of automation systems to ensure peak performance.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including Lockout-Tagout (LOTO), PPE compliance, and hazard mitigation.
• Produce comprehensive technical documentation, daily reports, and project status updates.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable automation solutions.
Must-Have Skills
• Proven experience with industrial cameras and machine vision systems (Zivid, Basler, IMF preferred).
• Strong electrical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, including reading and interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Working knowledge of Codesys PLC programming and motion control systems.
• Proficiency with Windows (Terminal, PowerShell, PuTTY) and Linux environments, including strong command-line expertise.
• Experience in robotics deployment, automation system integration, and mechanical tool usage.
• Deep understanding of safety procedures and industrial compliance standards.
• Excellent technical communication and documentation abilities.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 level or higher) in both written and spoken communication.
• Nice-to-Have
• Intermediate-level skill with Codesys PLC software.
• Broader experience configuring and optimizing industrial camera and vision systems.
• Familiarity with MotionLink software and Beckhoff Servo Drives.
