Role Summary
The Product Owner – Digital Channels is responsible for driving the vision, development, and continuous improvement of mobile and web banking platforms. The role focuses on delivering customer-centric digital experiences, enhancing functionality, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology delivery.
Role and Responsibilities
• Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for mobile and web banking channels
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, UX/UI teams, and developers to deliver high-quality digital products
• Gather, prioritize, and translate business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog to ensure maximum value delivery
• Work closely with Agile teams to support sprint planning, execution, and delivery
• Ensure seamless and intuitive user experiences across digital channels
• Monitor product performance using KPIs and analytics, driving continuous improvement
• Coordinate with technology teams to ensure integration with core banking and backend systems
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and governance standards
• Act as the key point of contact between business and technology stakeholders
Skills and Experience
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in digital banking or financial services
• Strong understanding of mobile and web banking platforms and customer journeys
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and user stories
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience with digital product analytics and performance optimization
• Understanding of APIs, integrations, and digital architecture is advantageous
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Relevant certifications (CSPO, Scrum Product Owner) are an advantage
