Project Manager – Technology Deployment

Role Overview
Linnk is supporting the deployment of advanced robotics and automation technologies within large-scale fulfilment and logistics environments. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead technology deployment projects, managing activities from pre-execution planning through to on-site delivery and project close-out.
This role is highly operational and delivery-focused, requiring strong coordination across safety, engineering, vendors, and site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Execution Planning
Manage site access, permits, and system set-up (e.g. access platforms, onboarding tools, vendor compliance systems)
Coordinate and validate safety documentation and approvals (RAMS, Permits to Work)
Arrange and verify required technical qualifications and certifications (e.g. IOQ, SWEH)
Confirm utilities, infrastructure readiness, and quality standards prior to installation
Plan logistics for equipment delivery, storage, and installation sequencing
Coordinate with local site teams to confirm resources, schedules, and support requirements
Project Execution
Participate in daily progress briefings and site coordination meetings
Prepare and lead weekly project review meetings with internal teams and external vendors/contractors
Manage on-site installation activities and act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders
Ensure all work is executed in line with safety, quality, and programme standards
Track progress against plan, identify risks, and escalate issues where required
Maintain strong communication across vendors, technical teams, and site operations
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain daily progress updates and ensure project tracking systems are kept up to date
Contribute to project scorecards and performance reviews
Record safety observations and lessons learned in the relevant reporting tools
Prepare and support final handover documentation at project completion
Required Skills & Experience
Strong safety-first mindset with experience working in regulated industrial environments
Proven project management experience within automation, robotics, MHE, or technical deployments
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience coordinating multiple vendors and third-party contractors
Strong planning, scheduling, and resource management capabilities
Risk identification, mitigation, and escalation experience
Solid technical understanding of industrial automation and fulfilment technologies
High-quality documentation, reporting, and tracking skills
Structured problem-solving approach and ability to work under pressure
Working Conditions
On-site presence required 5 days per week
Flexibility to support early starts, extended hours, or weekend installations where required
Strict adherence to all site safety policies and procedures
Reporting into the Technology Deployment Programme leadership and working closely with local site teams, third-party contractors, and technical support functions
