Data Management Consultant

Role Summary
Join a forward-thinking organisation as a Data Governance and Privacy Specialist, responsible for designing, implementing, and enhancing data management, governance, and privacy frameworks. You will ensure regulatory compliance while enabling secure, effective data usage across the business.

Role and Responsibilities
• Implement and maintain data management and governance frameworks aligned with DAMA, NDMO, PDPL, and NCA controls
• Manage Records of Processing Activities (RoPA), Data Subject Requests (DSRs), and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
• Design, implement, and monitor Data Leakage Prevention (DLP) policies and analyze data leakage incidents
• Develop governance documentation, including policies, procedures, standards, and compliance reports
• Engage with business and technical stakeholders to support projects, deliver awareness sessions, and ensure compliance

Skills and Experience
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data privacy, and regulatory frameworks (NDMO, PDPL, NCA)
• Proven experience managing RoPA, DSRs, and conducting DPIAs
• Solid understanding of the data lifecycle and effective data protection practices
• Experience designing and implementing DLP policies and investigating data leakage incidents
• Ability to produce clear analytical and compliance reports for management and governance committees
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview and/or privacy management tools is a plus
• Strong self-learning capability and adaptability to enterprise platforms
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and task management skills
• Experience drafting governance policies, procedures, and standards
• Ability to work flexibly across remote and on-premises environments
