Key job responsibilities

In this role you will work with our technical team of scientists and engineers to design, prototype and help manufacture at scale robotic systems. You will also coordinate with the teams’ external interfaces with suppliers and contractors, collect business and systems requirements, write specifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in the design of complex mechanical products and equipment.
Experience with large-scale manufacturing, GD&T, tolerance loop analysis, etc.
Proficiency with product lifecycle and change management systems
Established background in Robotics or Mechatronic Systems with technology focus in actuator and sensor evaluation.
SolidWorks experience with best practices for part design, advanced assemblies, complex configuration management
Experience related to systems architecture, design, and system integration of mechatronic devices.
Familiar with using and the capabilities of rapid prototyping equipment (CNC, 3D printing, waterjet, laser cutter).
Built and deployed robots to production environments
Strong problem-solving abilities with the capability to develop creative and effective hardware solutions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Fluent English.
