Robotics QA Engineer
Location: Berlin, Germany (up to 50% travel across EU & North America)

Linnk is supporting a robotics R&D programme and is seeking a Robotics QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of prototype robotic systems through structured testing, automation, and performance analysis.

The Role
You will be responsible for executing hands-on testing activities across mechanical, electrical, and software components, supporting both manual and automated QA processes in a fast-moving development environment.

Key Responsibilities
Execute daily testing on prototype robotic systems and components
Design and maintain test cases and scenarios across hardware and software layers
Develop and support automated testing frameworks and scripts
Identify, document, and track defects, bugs, and performance issues
Analyse test results and system KPIs to identify reliability and improvement trends
Work closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and validate fixes
Maintain clear test documentation, reports, and QA artefacts
Participate in design reviews, providing feedback on functionality and system quality

Required Experience & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
3+ years’ experience in QA or testing roles, ideally within robotics or automation
Strong understanding of QA methodologies and testing principles
Experience with test automation and scripting (e.g. Python, JavaScript)
Proficiency with test documentation, defect tracking, and reporting
Familiarity with Git and issue-tracking tools such as JIRA
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Experience
Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System)
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated test integration
Background in robotics, industrial automation, or mechatronics
Experience with performance monitoring and analytics tools
Familiarity with UR robotic systems

Willingness to travel up to 50%
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Comfortable operating in evolving technical environments
