Senior Security Consultant

Role Overview
Linnk are seeking a highly technical Security Implementation Consultant to work alongside the CISSP Security Advisory Lead within a large-scale HPC Data Centre programme.
This role is delivery-focused and hands-on. The consultant will translate security architecture and advisory direction into configured, operational security controls across identity, privileged access, PKI, infrastructure, and access security domains.
The ideal candidate will have strong practical experience configuring enterprise security technologies in complex, high-availability environments. Exposure to HPC or large-scale compute environments is advantageous but not mandatory.

Required Experience:
• 10+ years of hands-on security engineering or security consulting experience.
• Strong experience configuring enterprise security platforms.
• Demonstrated wide security experience across:
o PKI
o PAM / Privileged Access
o IAM / SSO
o Infrastructure security hardening
• Experience in complex, mission-critical environments.

Technical Expertise:
Strong practical experience with:
• PKI platforms and certificate authorities
• PAM platforms (CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Delinea or equivalent)
• Identity providers (Entra ID, Okta, Ping, Keycloak)
• LDAP / Active Directory integration
• Linux system hardening (particularly relevant for HPC environments)
• Network security configuration (ACLs, segmentation, firewalls)
• SIEM integration
• Federation protocols (SAML, OAuth2, OIDC)
• Secure configuration management practices
