Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Platform & DevSecOps Engineer to design, build, and operate secure, scalable cloud platforms. The role focuses on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, and containerized environments, with a strong emphasis on DevSecOps best practices. You will act as a technical authority and subject matter expert, working closely with engineering, platform, security, and integration teams to ensure high standards of availability, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities
– Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure on GCP
– Build, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable and secure deployments
– Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform (and Ansible where applicable)
– Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and/or ArgoCD
– Drive continuous improvement of platform reliability, deployment cycles, and operational efficiency
– Act as a DevSecOps subject matter expert for support, project, and delivery teams
– Implement security-by-design practices across pipelines, infrastructure, and applications
– Develop clean, maintainable automation and services using best engineering practices
– Contribute to monitoring, alerting, and observability using modern tooling
Required Skills & Experience
Core Technical Skills
– Strong hands-on experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
– Advanced experience with Terraform for complex infrastructure automation
– Solid knowledge of CI/CD tooling: GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps
– Extensive experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including cluster setup and management
– Experience with Helm and GitOps tools such as ArgoCD
– Strong Linux / system administration background
– Good understanding of networking, DNS, proxies, databases, and security concepts
– DevSecOps & Automation
– Proven experience implementing DevSecOps practices and secure SDLC
– Familiarity with policy-as-code and security tooling (e.g. GitHub Advanced Security)
– Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash
– Experience building complex automation and system integration workflows
– Knowledge of backup & recovery, disaster recovery, patching, and vulnerability management
Monitoring & Reliability
– Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Datadog, and Elasticsearch
– Ability to evaluate system performance, define metrics, and drive continuous improvement
Experience & Profile
– 4+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps / Platform / DevSecOps role
– Proven track record delivering automation and platform initiatives
– Strong understanding of ITIL concepts (Incident, Change, Capacity, Performance Management)
– Comfortable acting as a technical reference across multiple teams
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
