Job Title: Aruba EdgeConnect Deployment Engineer
Location: Remote (Eastern Time Zone, EST)
Employment Type: Contract

Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced and technically strong Aruba EdgeConnect Deployment Engineer to support a global customer base in the deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of SD-WAN and networking solutions. This is a remote position aligned with the Eastern Time Zone, ideal for someone with a solid background in networking, customer engagement, and hands-on deployment projects.

This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge SD-WAN solutions while collaborating closely with enterprise-level clients and internal engineering teams

Key Responsibilities:

Provide remote deployment, configuration, and installation support of Aruba EdgeConnect solutions
Participate in after-hours or weekend installations when required
Travel to customer sites for hands-on deployments (if necessary)
Assist in the architecture and reconfiguration of customer environments
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network deployment issues
Document configurations, environments, and any new best practices
Collaborate with engineering teams by providing detailed feedback and case reports
Provide limited project coordination to manage installation timelines

Required Skills & Experience:

5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise or service provider networking environments
Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, GRE, NAT, PAT)
Hands-on experience with OSPF, EIGRP, BGP
Experience with VLANs, IP subnetting, ACLs, and traffic redirection (WCCP, PBR)
Familiarity with major router/switch vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Arista)
Knowledge of WAN optimization and VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN)
Experience with enterprise firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet, SonicWALL)
Competency in working with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
Proficiency in Windows, Linux, macOS, Microsoft Visio, and Office Suite
Strong troubleshooting skills and technical documentation ability

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Professional-level certifications (CCNP, CCIE, JNCIE, JNCP)
Previous experience in customer-facing or consulting roles
Ability to manage complex deployment timelines and deliverables
Excellent communication and presentation skills across all technical levels
Willingness to occasionally work outside standard business hours
