We are seeking an experienced Information Architect to join the Supply Chain Data Organisation of a life sciences company. This role is central to defining and maintaining the standards, frameworks, and governance that underpin how data is structured, transformed, and consumed across the enterprise.

You will act as a custodian of information clarity and consistency, ensuring that data models, naming conventions, metadata, and transformation layers are scalable, usable, and aligned with both business and technical needs across modern data platforms.

Job Role & Responsibilities
– Define, implement, and maintain information architecture standards, including naming conventions, metadata frameworks, and data modelling guidelines
– Establish rules and best practices to manage complexity within data transformation layers, ensuring long-term clarity and maintainability
– Collaborate closely with data engineers, solution architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders to align information architecture with business requirements
– Support data governance initiatives, ensuring information architecture enables data quality, security, and privacy requirements

Required Skills
– Proven experience as an Information Architect (10 years+) or in a similar role within data management or enterprise architecture
– Strong understanding of data modelling, metadata management, and information governance principles
– Hands-on experience defining and enforcing standards and naming conventions in complex data environments
– Familiarity with data transformation pipelines and the challenges of managing complexity at scale

Preferred Skills
– Experience working within life sciences, supply chain, or other regulated environments
– Familiarity with Databricks, including data modelling, transformation layers, or metadata management within a Databricks-based data platform
