Job Title: Senior Collateral Management Analyst (Markets Operations)

Overview
Linnk Group are partnering with a leading financial institution to hire a Senior Collateral Management Analyst to join a high-performing Markets Operations team.
This is a critical role responsible for the end-to-end collateral lifecycle, ensuring the accurate processing, agreement, and settlement of margin calls to mitigate counterparty credit risk across a high-volume trading environment.
You will be joining a team that processes approximately 1,000 margin calls daily, with a combined monthly settlement value of circa £14bn.

Key Responsibilities
– Manage the daily exchange of collateral (cash and securities) across a range of counterparties
– Oversee and resolve collateral disputes, including regulatory reporting requirements
– Act as a central point of contact for internal stakeholders and external counterparties
– Coordinate collateral activity across Risk, Front Office, Operations, Finance, and Onboarding teams
– Ensure smooth execution of the end-to-end collateral lifecycle
– Support audit activities and balance sheet substantiation
– Analyse issues and drive solutions through to resolution
– Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk
– Provide input into new processes, systems, and product onboarding
– Support incident management and reporting (MI production)
– Mentor and support junior team members

Key Requirements
– Minimum 7 years of experience within Markets Operations / Collateral Management
– Strong, hands-on experience specifically within collateral management (essential)
– In-depth understanding of the collateral lifecycle (VM/IM)
– Strong knowledge of post-trade processes and settlement activities
– Proven experience managing collateral disputes
– Familiarity with legal documentation such as ISDA, CSA, and GMRA
– Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
– Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across functions
– Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desirable Skills
– Exposure to regulatory frameworks such as EMIR, UMR, and SIMM
– Experience with systems such as AcadiaSoft, Murex, or Calypso
– Experience contributing to process improvement or transformation initiatives.
