Job Title: Project Manager

In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of engineering projects, with a primary focus on material handling systems, automation, and robotics within distribution and fulfilment environments. Your responsibilities will span the full project lifecycle—from initial planning and design through to installation, commissioning, and final launch—while working closely with both internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervise and coordinate MHE (Material Handling Equipment) vendor for installation
• Prepare weekly and daily reports as required by the client’s Project Manager
• Provide overall site management, coordination, and planning with the site and project stakeholders
• Conduct site inspections at key milestones (e.g., start of construction, 60% and 100% installation, turnover, and close-out)
• Coach and guide all project teams (sub-contractors, maintenance engineers, commissioning engineers) throughout the execution lifecycle
• Coordinate with facility teams on scheduling, budgets, and phased turnover of buildings to ensure smooth installation of equipment without conflict or delay
• Ensure contracted resources deliver work to meet duration and quality targets, addressing underperformance
• Supervise construction works to ensure safe operations, in compliance with the client’s safety policies and in collaboration with on-site safety personnel
• Immediately report any safety concerns to the Programme Manager and Site Safety Manager

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 3+ years of project management experience
• 3+ years of experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
• Background in MHE/logistics environments
• Strong ability to use data and metrics to drive improvements
• Cross-functional experience with both technical and non-technical teams
• Experience working in large-scale, fast-paced operational settings
• Bachelor’s degree
• Advanced knowledge of Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLookUps)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 3+ years of experience in full project delivery and reporting results to senior leadership
• Proven record in driving process improvements
• Stakeholder management experience across various organisational levels
• Skilled in building processes, managing projects and schedules
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM)
