Senior Cybersecurity Architect

Role Summary
Join a leading organisation in Saudi Arabia as a Senior Cybersecurity Architect, responsible for leading complex cybersecurity architecture and engineering initiatives. You will ensure secure-by-design solutions, manage cyber risks, and strengthen enterprise security posture across systems, networks, and emerging technologies.

Role and Responsibilities
• Lead and execute complex cybersecurity architecture initiatives independently across systems and networks
• Conduct cybersecurity reviews, gap analyses, and risk assessments with documented mitigation plans
• Design, analyse, and approve secure architectures, controls, and mechanisms aligned with business and operational needs
• Define and maintain security architecture requirements and documentation across the full system acquisition lifecycle
• Provide expert advisory support, drive innovation, and ensure continuous improvement of cybersecurity architecture

Skills and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 15+ years of experience in IT Security with strong enterprise architecture exposure
• Deep expertise in security architecture design, risk management, and control selection
• Mastery in at least two domains: Network, Cloud, OT, Endpoint, or Big Data Security
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture methodologies (SABSA, TOGAF)
• Experience with ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and Saudi NCA regulatory requirements
• Proven ability to create high-quality technical documentation (architecture, requirements, SLAs, processes)
• Strong understanding of data collection, processing, and visualization architectures
• Experience designing secure architectures for proof-of-concepts and emerging technologies
• Ability to operate independently as a trusted technical authority and leader
