HPE Aruba Resident Engineer

Title: Resident Network Engineer – Aruba Portfolio (Onsite – Seattle, WA)

Job Description:
We’re looking for a highly skilled Resident Network Engineer with deep expertise in the Aruba product portfolio and enterprise networking. This is an onsite position in Seattle, working directly within the customer environment as a dedicated expert and technical advisor.

This is an exciting opportunity to act as a strategic partner, helping the customer maintain, optimize, and evolve their wired and wireless infrastructure. You’ll be embedded in their team, ensuring smooth operations, proactive improvements, and future-ready network architecture.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Act as a subject matter expert for Aruba solutions (AOS 8, AOS 10, Central, AirWave, ClearPass)
Perform routine network checks, identify potential issues, and ensure optimal performance
Support migration, integration, and upgrade initiatives
Collaborate with support teams and document processes and updates
Engage with stakeholders to execute projects across the lifecycle
Provide consulting expertise within a fast-paced, multi-vendor environment

What You’ll Bring:

5+ years of experience in networking, with strong Aruba portfolio knowledge
Proven background in wireless (site surveys, wireless design) and LAN/WAN/WLAN
Hands-on experience with: Aruba Central, ClearPass, AirWave, AOS 8/10, SD-WAN, AP/IAPs
Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Prior consulting experience in customer-facing roles is required
