ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Participate in 24×7 operations support, including being part of an on-call rotation to promptly attend to incidents reported by the NOC.
• Conduct impact assessments and develop migration methodologies that minimize downtime and risk.
• Serve as a technical authority during maintenance windows and lead troubleshooting during complex cutovers.
• Collaborate with vendors, planning, architecture, and NOC teams to coordinate migrations and platform cutovers
• Execute configuration migration, interface mapping, and service validation across L2/L3 VPN services.
SKILLS & EXPEIRENCE
• 5+ years of experience in IP/MPLS network engineering within a service provider or ISP environment.
• Routing protocols: OSPF, IS-IS, BGP
• MPLS technologies: LDP, RSVP-TE, Segment Routing (SR-MPLS a plus)
• VPN services: L2VPN, L3VPN, VPLS
• Huawei Hardware Platform: NE9K & 5K, NE40, S9300, CX600-X8
• Cisco Hardware Platform: ASR 9K, NCS 5K,
• Juniper Hardware Platform: MX480
