Role: Controls Engineer
Location: Must be based in the EU (travel across EU)

Overview
Join a global logistics innovator to deliver advanced industrial automation and control solutions across multiple EU facilities. You’ll own end-to-end deployment of Allen-Bradley PLC-based control systems, ensuring safety, reliability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Lead installation, programming, and commissioning of PLC and HMI systems.
Configure and optimise Allen-Bradley control systems for production environments.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and ANSI/ISO safety standards.
Troubleshoot automation faults and coordinate cross-functional resolutions.
Deliver on-site operator training and complete detailed technical documentation.

Must-Have Skills
5+ years’ experience with Allen-Bradley PLC programming and industrial automation.
Experience with Studio 5000
Proven ability to install, test, and maintain control panels and wiring.
Strong knowledge of HMI configuration, sensors, and safety systems.
Understanding of OSHA, NEC, and machine safety standards.
Associate Degree or higher in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Industrial Controls.
Willingness to travel nationwide and lead site deployments independently.

Nice-to-Have
Familiarity with Universal SmartPAC or equivalent press automation systems.
Knowledge of Industry 4.0/IoT integrations and data communications.
Experience with retrofit or large-scale automation upgrades.
Additional certifications in industrial safety or project management.
