Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented digital innovation researcher to join one of the largest KSA banks. The digital innovation researcher will be responsible in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to help the Bank make informed decisions. This role involves conducting research, analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and preparing reports contributing to the organization’s strategic planning and business efficiency.
The ideal candidate will combine a strong quantitative skill set with a range of qualitative skills in order to effectively communicate their research in writing and verbally to bank’s management. In addition, we seek someone with keen eye for understanding management requirements and translate that to quality research reports.

Responsibilities for this position include:
• Identify research objectives, reviewing statistical data and industry reports to aid research projects and compiling findings into a report for management to use business decisions
• Maintain constant coverage of industry-related news, trends, and developments. Disseminate insights on digital banking products and services to digital office stakeholders
• Work closely with digital office stakeholders to gain a thorough understanding of the business and understanding their requirements for publishing research reports and data insights
• Develop and maintain product benchmarking models and databases, analyzing competitor data, and providing strategic business advice to digital office senior management
• Analyze data to identify emerging opportunities and risks in the markets and justifying reasoning with facts and findings, and presenting findings to the leadership team
• Devise and perform primary research, keeping abreast of trends and sentiment in the market and write research reports to be publish within bank
• Support in creating innovative digital products with help of sharing product insights, recent industry trends, and market dynamics
• Outstanding organizational skills, decisive priority management, strong teamwork ethic, excellent verbal & written communication skills

Qualifications for digital innovation researcher:
• At least 10+ years’ experience in digital banking research and publishing research reports and whitepapers.
• Very good knowledge of research databases like Argaam, Statista, Crunchbase, Bloomberg, Gartner, Factiva, Reuters etc.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related field
• Strong understanding of banking and financial services industry and ability to analyze banking and financial data and present findings
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues proactively.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality reports.
