Linnk Group is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Computational Designer to support the development of a next-generation Design Intelligence Engine within a leading EU Design Engineering environment. This role sits at the intersection of CAD automation, computational design, cloud-based infrastructure, and AI-driven workflows, focused on transforming static warehouse layouts into machine-readable, queryable design intelligence.
The Computational Designer will play a key role in building automated systems that extract, version, validate, and visualize structured design data from AutoCAD and Revit environments. Working closely with engineering, DevOps, and AI-focused teams, this role will contribute to next-generation digital twin and design automation capabilities across large-scale logistics and industrial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
CAD Automation & Plugin Development
• Build and maintain AutoCAD and Revit plugins for automated design data extraction
• Develop algorithms to identify modules, footprints, grids, and capacity data
• Convert static CAD drawings into structured, machine-readable datasets
Computational Design & Digital Twin Development
• Develop 2D-to-3D pipelines for warehouse and delivery station layouts
• Support digital twin generation using Three.js and AI-assisted workflows
• Contribute to computational and parametric design automation initiatives
Cloud Integration & Workflow Automation
• Integrate extraction pipelines with cloud infrastructure and databases
• Support AI-driven automation workflows and scripted orchestration
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure scalable deployment and reliability
Design Validation & AI Tooling
• Build automated design validation and standards auditing tools
• Support layout merging, reporting automation, and cross-system data flows
• Contribute to AI-assisted engineering and automation workflows
Basic Qualifications:
• Strong experience with Revit API development using C#
• Experience developing AutoCAD plugins and automation tools
• Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript for scripting and workflow orchestration
• Familiarity with computational or parametric design methodologies
• Comfortable working with AI tools, LLMs, and automation-driven development workflows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in remote environments
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Three.js or other web-based 3D visualization frameworks
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and serverless workflows (Lambda, databases, APIs)
• Experience building digital twin or geometry processing pipelines
• Familiarity with warehouse, industrial, or logistics facility design environments
• Understanding of semantic modeling and structured design data systems
What Makes You Stand Out:
You are a technically driven computational designer who enjoys solving complex design and automation challenges through code, data, and intelligent systems. You thrive in highly innovative environments, combining CAD expertise with software engineering and AI-driven workflows to build scalable tools that improve design intelligence, automation, and digital visualization capabilities across large-scale engineering operations.
