The GIS Installation Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating high-voltage GIS installation activities on power transmission projects in Qatar. The role requires strong hands-on experience with GIS installation, Siemens Energy certification, and the ability to ensure installation activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved procedures and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate GIS installation activities, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, Siemens Energy standards, and project requirements.
• Lead site installation teams and coordinate with contractors, vendors, engineers, and client representatives to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor installation quality, site progress, HSE compliance, QA/QC requirements, and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
• Coordinate inspections, punch-list clearance, documentation, and handover activities while maintaining high standards of site safety and workmanship.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Relevant technical qualification or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with Siemens Energy GIS certification.
• Strong hands-on experience in GIS installation for high-voltage power transmission projects.
• Experience with 400kV GIS – 8DQ1-6 (One & Half Breaker Scheme) and/or 220kV GIS – 8DN9-2 (Double Busbar Scheme).
• Experience with KAHRAMAA projects, along with strong site supervision, HSE, QA/QC, and technical documentation skills, is highly preferred.
