Overview

Linnk is seeking an experienced First Deployment Engineer to lead the introduction of next-generation robotics and automation technologies across major fulfilment and logistics operations.

This is a unique opportunity to own the deployment of new technologies before they scale globally. You will lead projects from planning through go-live, working with engineering, operations, vendors, and site teams to transform complex first-time implementations into repeatable deployment standards.

The role combines project leadership, technical problem-solving, and hands-on site execution, making it ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy bringing innovative technologies to life.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead end-to-end deployment activities from planning and installation through commissioning and go-live
• Manage on-site execution during pilot and first-of-kind deployments
• Coordinate vendors, engineering teams, operations, and site stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
• Develop deployment playbooks, documentation, and best practices to support future rollouts at scale
• Support the implementation of robotics, conveyance, sortation, and warehouse automation technologies
• Troubleshoot technical and operational challenges during deployment and commissioning
• Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and standardising successful processes
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM discipline
• 3+ years’ experience delivering automation, robotics, MHE, or warehouse technology deployments
• Strong project management and stakeholder coordination experience
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting complex technical systems in operational environments
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel extensively and work on-site during deployment phases

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience deploying robotics or automation systems within warehouse, fulfilment, manufacturing, or logistics environments
• Experience managing vendors and external contractors
• Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
• Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum)
• Experience developing deployment standards, SOPs, and training materials
• Master’s degree in Engineering or related STEM field
