Job Title: Azure Platform Architect

Overview:
The Azure Platform Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure to meet business objectives. This role involves defining the overall Azure platform architecture, ensuring scalability, security, cost efficiency, and alignment with organizational standards. The architect will collaborate closely with IT, development, and business teams to enable successful cloud adoption and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and maintain the organization’s Azure platform architecture, including networking, storage, compute, identity, and governance.
Develop and enforce best practices for security, compliance, and cost optimization in Azure environments.
Lead the migration of applications, workloads, and data to Azure.
Collaborate with development teams to design cloud-native applications using Azure services (e.g., App Services, Functions, Kubernetes, AI/ML).
Implement automation for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance using tools like Azure DevOps, ARM templates, and Bicep.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or Azure Solutions Architect.
In-depth knowledge of Azure services, architecture patterns, and governance models.
Strong expertise in networking, security, identity, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
Experience with hybrid cloud solutions and on-premises integration.
