Job Title – Splunk Security Infrastructure Engineer

The Splunk Engineer will be responsible for administering, engineering, and supporting enterprise Splunk environments. They will manage Splunk infrastructure, onboard and normalize data sources, maintain clustered environments, and support security monitoring and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day Splunk administration and engineering, including data source onboarding, configuration, troubleshooting, and platform support.
• Manage and maintain Search Head and Indexer Clusters, ensuring availability, performance, scalability, and overall platform health.
• Perform Splunk instance upgrades, parsing, regex development, field extractions, data models, and data normalization.
• Support Splunk Enterprise Security and ensure data is CIM-compliant for effective security monitoring, correlation, and reporting.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in Splunk administration, engineering, and enterprise-level Splunk environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Search Head Clustering, Indexer Clustering, Splunk upgrades, data onboarding, parsing, regex, and field extractions.
• Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security, data models, normalization, and ensuring CIM compliance across ingested data.
• Strong troubleshooting and platform administration skills, with relevant Splunk certifications preferred.
