Role Summary
The Red Hat / OpenShift Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Red Hat and OpenShift container platform solutions across enterprise environments. The role focuses on platform stability, automation, scalability, and enabling cloud-native application deployment and modernization initiatives.

Role and Responsibilities
• Design, deploy, configure, and manage Red Hat OpenShift environments
• Support containerization and orchestration of applications using Kubernetes and OpenShift
• Implement and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines
• Perform platform upgrades, patching, monitoring, and performance tuning
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform, container, and infrastructure-related issues
• Support automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives
• Ensure platform security, compliance, and high availability standards are maintained
• Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders for implementation and support activities
• Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and operational standards

Skills and Experience
• Proven experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and OpenShift platforms
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native technologies
• Experience with OpenShift installation, administration, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or scripting languages
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage
• Understanding of networking, storage, and security concepts in containerized environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Red Hat certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, OpenShift) are an advantage
