Role Summary
The Chargebacks Technical Specialist is responsible for supporting and enhancing chargeback systems and processes, with a strong focus on FIS platforms. This is a hands-on role involving system implementation, vendor coordination, and production support, ensuring efficient dispute management and compliance with card scheme regulations.

Role and Responsibilities
• Provide technical support and management of chargeback systems, with a focus on FIS solutions
• Coordinate with vendors for system changes, upgrades, and implementations
• Support end-to-end chargeback processing including dispute lifecycle management
• Ensure compliance with Mastercard and VISA rules and regulatory requirements
• Develop and maintain integrations using APIs and Java-based solutions
• Work with Oracle databases for data management, reporting, and troubleshooting
• Provide hands-on production support, including incident resolution and root cause analysis
• Implement system enhancements and process improvements
• Collaborate with business, operations, and technology teams to optimize chargeback processes
• Maintain accurate documentation for systems, processes, and changes

Skills and Experience
• Proven experience in chargebacks/disputes systems with strong FIS platform knowledge
• Experience working with Mastercard and VISA chargeback rules and processes
• Strong technical skills in Java and API integrations
• Experience with Oracle databases and SQL
• Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in payments/card operations
• Experience coordinating with vendors and managing system implementations
• Strong production support experience in live environments
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
