Role Summary
The System Administrator – Enterprise Infrastructure is responsible for the administration, maintenance, security, and optimization of the organization’s hybrid IT environment. The role focuses on managing on-premises infrastructure, virtualization platforms, cloud services, identity management, backup and disaster recovery, enterprise collaboration tools, and security operations to ensure high availability, performance, and compliance across critical business systems.

Role and Responsibilities
• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, and identity services
• Manage virtualization platforms including VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix, ensuring performance and capacity optimization
• Support Microsoft Azure infrastructure, hybrid identity, cloud governance, backup, and disaster recovery solutions
• Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Purview, and Copilot
• Manage endpoint deployment, patching, security policies, and lifecycle management using SCCM/MECM
• Implement and maintain identity and access management controls including MFA, RBAC, and PAM
• Support enterprise storage environments including SAN administration, capacity planning, and performance optimization
• Monitor infrastructure health, perform root cause analysis, and provide L3 technical support
• Ensure compliance with security standards through vulnerability management, SIEM integration, and audit support
• Develop automation solutions using PowerShell and support continuous improvement initiatives across the IT environment

Skills and Experience
• Proven experience as a System Administrator or Infrastructure Engineer in enterprise environments
• Strong expertise in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, and identity management
• Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, and Nutanix platforms
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments
• Experience administering Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, and Entra ID
• Proven experience with Veeam Backup & Replication and disaster recovery planning
• Strong understanding of SCCM/MECM, endpoint management, and patch management processes
• Knowledge of enterprise storage technologies, monitoring tools (PRTG, Azure Monitor), and infrastructure operations
• Experience with cybersecurity controls, vulnerability management, SIEM integration, and compliance frameworks
• Strong PowerShell scripting, troubleshooting, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
