Job Description: Product Owner / Business Analyst – Remittances, API Integration & Mapping

Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented Product Owner / Business Analyst to drive the product lifecycle for international and domestic remittances. This role focuses on API integrations with global and local payment rails, data mapping, and ensuring smooth, compliant cross-border money movement.
Key Responsibilities
• Own and prioritize the product backlog for remittance journeys, including sender/receiver flows, compliance screening, and settlement.
• Lead requirements definition and technical specifications for API integrations with banks, fintech partners, and payment networks (e.g., SWIFT, Ripple, local clearing systems).
• Perform detailed data mapping and transformation analysis between internal systems and external partners.
• Define business rules for FX conversion, fee structures, transaction limits, and routing logic.
• Collaborate with integration and backend teams to design robust, scalable APIs and ensure proper error handling and reconciliation.
• Work with compliance and legal teams to embed AML, KYC, and sanctions screening requirements into the product.
• Create and maintain integration documentation, sequence diagrams, and data dictionaries.
• Track integration performance, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement of remittance success rates and speed.
Requirements & Qualifications
• 6+ years of experience in Product Ownership or Business Analysis within remittances or cross-border payments.
• Strong technical background in API design, integration patterns, and data mapping (XML, JSON, ISO 20022).
• Deep understanding of remittance corridors, correspondent banking, and instant payment schemes.
