Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion HCM Techno-Functional Consultant to support an Oracle Cloud HCM transformation project. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Payroll implementation, configuration, data migration, integrations, and system testing.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and implementation vendors to ensure successful project delivery, payroll go-live, and ongoing system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll configuration, implementation, and system enhancements.

Configure payroll elements, earnings, deductions, Fast Formula, balances, costing, payment methods, payroll calendars, and payroll flows.

Manage Core HR configurations, including enterprise structures, legal employers, LDG, PSU, and TRU using Functional Setup Manager (FSM).

Perform payroll data migration using HCM Data Loader (HDL) and HCM Spreadsheet Data Loader (HSDL), including balance initialization and reconciliation.

Develop and support integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, and file-based interfaces.

Support bank/WPS and Finance/General Ledger integrations.

Develop and maintain reports using BI Publisher, OTBI, and HCM Extracts.

Configure approval workflows using BPM and Approval Management (AMX).

Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), payroll parallel runs, and defect resolution.

Review and validate vendor functional and technical designs, configurations, and deliverables.

Collaborate with business analysts to translate business requirements into technical and functional solutions.

Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting, documentation, and knowledge transfer.

Support future Oracle HCM implementation phases and module enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5–8+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM.

Experience in multiple end-to-end Oracle HCM implementations, including at least 2–3 successful Payroll go-lives.

Strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Payroll configuration and Fast Formula.

Hands-on experience with Core HR, HDL, HSDL, and payroll data migration.

Proficiency in BI Publisher, OTBI, and HCM Extracts.

Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, and third-party integrations.

Experience integrating Oracle Payroll with banking and Finance/GL systems.

Knowledge of BPM/AMX approval workflows.

Strong experience in SIT, UAT, payroll parallel runs, and defect management.

Ability to independently review vendor deliverables and resolve complex technical and functional issues.

Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

UAE/GCC payroll localization experience, including end-of-service gratuity, WPS, and GPSSA.

Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) certification.

Advanced OTBI reporting experience.

Knowledge of Oracle Redwood UX and Visual Builder Studio (VBS).

Experience with Absence Management and Time and Labor.

Exposure to Oracle Recruiting, Talent, Learning, and Compensation modules.

Experience working as a client-side Oracle HCM techno-functional lead.
