Role Summary

Role and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs for financial platforms and services
• Integrate internal systems and third-party financial data providers
• Ensure APIs are secure, scalable, and compliant with financial regulations
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Optimise API performance and maintain technical documentation

Skills and Experience

• Strong experience developing APIs (REST / microservices architecture)
• Proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, or .NET
• Experience working within financial services, banking, or fintech environments
• Knowledge of security standards (OAuth2, authentication, encryption)
• Experience with API management tools and documentation (Swagger / OpenAPI)
